“Mindfulness is the light that shows us the way.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
We are pleased to share that Bettina Romhardt, Dharma Teacher is offering a yearlong training in Ireland. in 2026 – “Living Mindfully in the World”.
Bettina Romhardt, dharma teacher from Germany who has visited Ireland for retreats, days of mindfulness and other events for many years. For some time, Bettina has been holding yearlong trainings and next year, 2026, she will be offering the training in Ireland for the first time.
This training had been practiced since 2013 in Berlin at the Source of Compassion, a center in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. This form has been shown to be particularly suitable for people who have been practicing in the Plum Village Dhyana tradition for some time and who have a desire to anchor and deepen their practice. This yearlong training is a systematic, practice-oriented mindfulness training based on Buddhist teachings in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. It is not a study-course, although we refer to Buddhist teachings, sutras and draw from them.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in and you are tempted to join this yearlong training entitled “Living Mindfully in the World” which will take place for the first time at Oscailt in Dublin, we invite you to email 2026withbettina@gmail.com and one of the organisers will get back to you.
