Anam Cairde (Soul Friends) opens with time to exchange greetings followed by meditation, silent or
guided. Over time, we follow different teaching themes through Plum Village video Dharma talks. These
support our practice through the week. After a short break for mindful tea or walking meditation, we enjoy
Dharma sharing practice. We also recite the Five Mindfulness Trainings and practice Touching the Earth

Sangha Amor was born during the pandemic. However Covid 19 centres closed officially at the end of March and measures lessened. But as was stated in the Thich Nhat Hanh symposium: isolation; climate and environmental and other issues count as epidemic proportion.

Fresh Morning Sangha
We meet 6:50am – 7:20am Tuesday & Thursday mornings, via Zoom (audio only; no video).
Join call to connect together before our sitting. Facilitator will invite guided or silent sit. Bell to close meditation with closing words from facilitator. We leave call in silence, taking the calm energy with us into our day.
The Earth Holder Community is a branch of the Plum Village tree that applies Thich Nhat Hanh’s core teachings on engaged Buddhism, mindful living, racial and social justice, and interbeing with Mother Earth at this time of ecological crisis. The Irish EHC meets online on the third Sunday of every month. You can learn more about the Earth Holder Community here and here.
Please join the Zoom meeting a few minutes early so that we can enjoy sitting in silence together, creating a collective energy of mindfulness before our practice begins. The sessions include guided meditation and Dharma sharing.

Rainbow Sangha Ireland is a sangha for people who identify as LGBTQIA+, curious or questioning. We meet on the 1st Sunday of every month from 6pm-7.30pm (Irish Standard Time) to practice meditation in the Plum Village Tradition established by Thích Nhât Hanh (“Thây”), the Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, poet and peacemaker.
In a spirit of celebrating inclusivity and cultural diversity we welcome people from all identities, cultures and countries. We welcome members from all traditions or no particular tradition.
Rainbow Sangha Ireland is a growing global sangha hosted by Ireland yet which spans many cultures and time zones around the world. You do not have to be Irish or living in Ireland to join us. We welcome all Rainbow Folx who would like to join a Plum Village Rainbow Sangha.
